The key word in the above Snippet is FEELS. Substitute the word FEELS for BELIEVES....and you can see part of the game plan of the Maxwell team is going to employ.
Defense attorneys trashing victims of sexual abuse on the stand is risky business, especially in today's world. The defense attorneys could come off as harsh and uncaring to the jury.
But remember who the Maxwell team has testifying on her behalf, Elizabeth Loftus, from the False Memory Syndrome Foundation. Loftus will state that the victim(s) truly believe the were abused. They are not lying. It's just that their memories are false.
With Loftus, you don't attack the victim, you attack the memories themselves.
Loftus and the other quacks(some with CIA connections) that were associated with the FMSF built their careers by doing this.
Loftus will play a pretty big part in this trial.
