Judge Upholds Stay On Civil Suit Against Maxwell: Is This About Prosecuting Crimes Or Hiding Information?

Today Federal Judge Debra Freeman upheld a temporary stay on the only active civil suit against Ghilsane Maxwell.

We discussed in an earlier post that prosecutors ALSO wanted a hold on the civil lawsuit because it would “adversely affect” the criminal prosecution AND because she would be afforded a “ broader array of discovery“

The BITZ believe that discovery would expose information in Operation Leap Year.

Judge Freeman who ordered the hold on the civil suit has always be leaning in that direction... in  an article  from May. 2020:

This is in May 2020 BEFORE Maxwell was arrested... Notice how Judge Freeman was already shooting down the civil suit

“ The woman accused of procuring underage women for deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein won’t have to submit to questioning as part of a civil suit alleging she participated in the sexual battery of a teen girl.“

AND

(Judge Freeman) “ I’m permitting her not to respond to [written questions] and not to have her deposition,”

Looks like they have been trying to squash this from the beginning .

Also, I thought Maxwell was in hiding in May, but it seems that authorities were already having discussions before her arrest ever happened...

Maybe her arrest wasn’t necessarily about prosecuting her for crimes, but all about keeping her mouth closed about what she knew?

She did think at one point think that the information she had might help her evade prosecution:

What better way to control the narrative and flow of information.....by jailing the person who has all the information
